Steps of Sesame Oil Hydraulic Production Line
Sesame seed selection has a great influence on product quality, and the main purpose of selecting is removing impurities and immature seeds. First, choose mature sesame which is full, moderately dry and wet; then use magnetic separator, screening machine, stoning machine and winnowing machine to complete the process of material feeding, screening, stone remover, magnetic separation, and complete process of dust-removing and air purification, which can reduce the damage to the subsequent machine.
Rinsing can remove residual impurities left after the screening, making sesame cleaner. In addition, when rinsing, sesame seeds are soaked in the pool for 1 hour, which can make sesame seeds evenly saturated with moisture, and the protein denaturation can be improved thoroughly when the seeds are fried, At the same time, it can also prolong the time of seed frying to avoid the phenomenon of scorching.
Rinsing method in the factory
In general, the oil factory uses a sesame washing machine to remove floating impurities and precipitated sediment, and then sesame seeds are softened, so that the phospholipids in the sesame absorb water and expand, which could accelerate protein denaturation and increase the oil output rate. After washing, the moisture content of sesame is about 35%.
When roasting sesame seeds, it is important to control the degree of heating, roasting time and temperature. In the beginning, because of the large water content of sesame seeds, it is appropriate to fry materials at a relatively high temperature. When 70% of sesame seeds are fried until cooked, it is necessary to reduce the firepower and check the degree of sesame tenderness at any time. Generally, it is appropriate to make the temperature reach about 200℃, and the cooked sesame products are usually reddish or brown by hand opening.
When frying, the sesame roasting machine can frequently roll the seeds and disperse the moisture & smoke to prevent scorching and avoid the phenomenon of uneven raw & cooked food. At the same time, according to the different types of sesame seeds, the seeds should be treated separately in the specific operation. Material with thick skin is suitable to fry at high temperature, and thin skin of material is suitable to roast at low temperature.
Special attention should be paid when roasting
After roasting for about 30 minutes and at 190℃~200℃, pour some cold water to the roasting machine to cool the sesame seeds. Due to the sudden drop in temperature, it is easier to make the structure of sesame crisp, which is conducive to grind the fine seeds. And also is beneficial to reduce the temperature of the sesame before sesame seeds are out of the pot and avoid scorching.
When the sesame is out of the roasting machine, although the splashing water has cooled the sesame before, sesame’s temperature is still about 140℃~150℃. If not cool, there is still the possibility of burning, so the sesame should be immediately cooled after removing from the roasting machine. Dedusting could reduce the temperature and remove the smoke from the sesame seeds. The dedusting operation can be carried out with a dedusting machine, and some small oil plant also uses manual cooling methods.
Then, the seeds would be conveyed through the pipeline to the pressing workshop, and the pressing workshop can be equipped with feed divider. The lower part of the dividing device is a trolley on a sliding track, and the trolley can slide over the hydraulic oil press machine at all working positions. The trolley is controlled by a control center to distribute the material, and the lower outlet of the oil press is connected to the oil collection pipeline. The discharged oil cake can be collected, too.

The oil collection pipeline is connected with the sedimentation tank so that the pressed sesame oil would be gathered in the pool until the oil residue is completely precipitated and the sediments will be separated by filtration.
The bottom of the sedimentation tank is equipped with a filtrating machine connector to facilitate further purification of the pressed sesame oil. In the filtrating process, the crude sesame oil is filtered through a plate and frame filter press by adopting hydraulic pressure to separate the solid impurities from oil, which realizes the purification of sesame oil. Then, the purified oil can be packed for usage.
